Liberty Bell

Libertybellfull

As all great things seem to be, the Liberty Bell was much smaller in person than I imagined it to be. And although it was quite crowded and nearly impossible to get a shot of the bell just by itself, just to be in its presence was enough for me. The gallery leading up to the bell too was quite spectacular in the fact that I didn't realize there was so much history behind the bell. For instance, I didn't know it traveled the US by train spreading hope or that it was a symbol of the Underground Railroad. History wasn't my best subject in school, but standing in front of history itself does make a difference.
